This is my first real attempt at building a website, so you will have to excuse any mistakes.
My name is Ed, and I'm a lifelong resident of Shamokin, and probably always will be. I have many fond childhood memories of this city. I'm only 24 years old but I am deeply interested in the history of our little city.
My father is much more of a history buff than I am, in fact most, if not all, of the pictures that are on these pages came from him. If it wasn't for him this site would have never been made, so thanks Dad!!!!!!!!
For people not of this area, it may seem like there's not much here. But for most of the residents, it echoes of a rich past. And it's that past, that I hope to be able to showcase here.
At the bottom of this page you will see buttons that link to my pages of Shamokin. So please, feel free to browse the site. Maybe you'll learn something interesting.
A lot of time and hard work is going into this page, so it will be changed and updated, as I get new pictures or information.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my site and I hope you enjoy it, as much as I enjoyed building it. Please sign my guestbook, and I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions you may have to help make this site more enjoyable.
